SEPTEMBER 2025
Service and Creative Skills Australia (SACSA) is currently reviewing and updating SHB30416 – Certificate III in Hairdressing. This will result in a major update to the qualification.
RTOs will have just twelve months to transition students and update all training and assessment resources.

Transitioning to the new qualification will require a full review and update of your training and assessment resources, including:

Reviewing the updates in detail

Updating all training materials and assessments

Validating resources to meet the new requirements

Managing RPL of current students into the new qualification
This process is time-consuming and can create compliance risks if not done thoroughly. This is where we can help.
