Our structured onboarding system is designed to make the transition to Skin Deep Learning resources simple and well supported.
We guide your team through each stage, including licensing, system integration, platform training and assessment familiarisation. Trainers receive practical support to confidently navigate the SDL platform, understand the resources and implement assessments effectively.
Regular 30, 60 and 90-day check-ins also give your team opportunities to ask questions, address challenges and access additional support as they begin delivering with SDL.
Welcome and overview
Introductory Microsoft Teams meeting to:

Discuss your RTO, students and delivery model

Understand your current systems and LMS requirements

Discuss your trainer and implementation needs

Explore how SDL resources can be customised to support your delivery model

Discuss implementation timelines

Review pre-training requirements
Licence and pre-payment
Complete onboarding actions:

Review the licence agreement and associated legal terms
-
Discuss amendments or revisions, if required
-
Sign and return the completed Digital Resource User Agreement

Complete pre-payment
Learning Management System (LMS) and LTI integration setup
Set up LMS access or LTI integration based on your requirements.
LMS:

Submit assessor enrolment details to the SDL team
-
Submit student enrolment details to the SDL team, if available
-
The SDL team will provide login instructions
LTI:

The SDL team will provide LTI links and integration instructions
-
Embed SDL LTI links into your LMS environment
-
Test the LTI links and user access
-
Resolve any technical or integration issues before delivery begins
SDL platform tutorial - if relevant
If you are using the Skin Deep LMS, we will provide an interactive Microsoft Teams tutorial covering:

A guided walkthrough of the SDL LMS platform and user experience

Assessment submission, marking and grading workflows

Monitoring and reporting on student progress

Uploading or accessing supplementary resources

Resolving common technical issues and accessing support
